Welcome back to my website! It's good to be back performing again.
Well, the very busy summer has come and gone and I am entering into a Fall filled with wonderful performing opportunities. I looking forward to working with some new organizations, institutions, venues and getting to do some traveling.
In September, I will be working at Shenandoah Conservatory for the semester, filling in for a teacher on Sabbatical. It's a chance to work with some amazing students in a conservatory setting and I am grateful for the opportunity. I will be working with the National Foundation of Hispanic in the Arts coaching a few of their singers for their gala being held in Washington DC at the Mayflower Hotel.
In October, I will be performing with the DTSBC at the National Portrait Gallery in a tribute to Maya Lin called Surroundings
In November, I am heading north to my hometown of Winnipeg for a concert, In Plain Sight with Flipside Opera, and a few masterclasses. Returning to perform with Frank Conlon at a benefit concert, a GWU Faculty Concert and at the Washington National Cathedral with The Choral Arts Society of Washington in their concert, O What a Beautiful City.
December, I get the chance to work again with Maestra Nancia D'Alimonte as she conducts Messiah Sing Along at the Kennedy Center.
It's a busy season for me, plus UUMC church choir is going strong, and we will be preparing for our Advent Cantata, Bach's Wachet Auf in December.
I take none of this for granted, and I am grateful for every opportunity I get to still share the gift of song.
I hope to see you soon at a performance!!
